Helen Bailes Ceramics
Helen Bailes makes textured and scuptural porcelain
Helen studied ceramics at the University of Wales and gained an Hons degree in 1994. She has a workshop/studio at her home in the North Devon countyside.

Helen is also a member of 14 THE GALLERY a small arts and crafts co-operative in the refurbished Pannier Market in Great Torrington. She teaches at The Plough Arts Centre.
Helen's work is inspired by the forms, patterns and dynamics found in the natural world, such as fern fronds, shells, the movement of water and the ever changing sky. Through the sensual handling of clay the natural process of growth, containment and disintegration are evoked.

Helen was taking part in the following events:
North Devon Arts SQUARE PICTURE SHOW EXHIBITION 5TH-30TH JUNE 2010. This was held in the Stables, Broomhill, Barnstaple Devon
Some of Helen's work was exhibited at the Westward Ho! & Bideford Art Society 88th Summer Exhibition. This was held in the Burton Art Gallery & Museum, Bideford, Devon during the early summer.
