The Art Coop at Gallery 39

LATEST...LATEST...LATEST....One of our member artists Helen Bailes, is making special work to be fired in the centre of the Castle Bonfire, now to be seen in full glory on The Old Bowling Green on Torrington Commons. She has done this for previous Torrington Bonfires built by The Cavaliers - more details in the news section.

The Art Coop at Gallery 39 is an artist co-operative gallery formed in 2009. The gallery aims to promote the work of local artist makers and is based in Barnstaple, North Devon. The work on sale is a mixture of media including paintings in watercolour, oils, gouache, textiles, fused and lampworked glass, stained glass, wood, ceramics, silver and button jewellery.

The current full member artists are:
Simone Hunt, Sue Martin,Jenny Smy, Ailsa Addicott, Helen Bailes, Ian Hudson, Bron Harris. Details of their work can be seen in the galleries and on their web links.
